These tires are nice. I really like them. I would gladly put them on another project. They look good.
It’s nice to be able to move the bike around the shop as a roller now. It’ll be even better when I get the handlebars on.
At first glimpse, the tires may rub the fender hanger brackets similar to how my 2.25 Gazelles do. I won’t know for sure until I get the rest of the triple tree back together.
Other things I accomplished this evening:
Put on the pedal chain
Put on the drive chain
Confirmed it needs a new drive chain
Put the spring on the center stand
Stripped all the paint off of the new triple tree top plate
I hope to get the handlebars on tomorrow.
